In what may have been their final meeting, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo faced off as PSG headed to Saudi Arabia to play the Riyadh All-Stars in a friendly match in the capital of the Middle Eastern country.
The friendly was a part of the Saudi festival Riyadh Seasons, which the Saudi government supports. What a spectacle it was, with 90 minutes of nonstop action, nine goals overall, a red card, and eternal star power. Messi, Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, and other PSG players all scored, and the team won 5-4.

Ronaldo scored twice, once from the penalty spot and once in open play, while Messi provided opportunities for teammates Kylian Mbappe and Neymar to score from the spot as well. Only after Neymar missed his chances to score did Mbappe take advantage of it.
PSG was down a man for much of the game after Juan Bernat was sent in the 39th minute for a last-man foul, but it didn’t matter as both teams took advantage of the exhibition set to put on a show in front of the goal.
The two teams will hope that strong performances may propel them deeper into the season’s competitive matchups, even though this encounter was little more than a showcase game between two star-studded squads that included two renowned players. Both teams’ attacking prowess genuinely stole the show.
Even though it is considered by some to be the last appearance of both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo sharing the same pitch, people will be expecting to be a part of this enthusiasm for the days to come.
