WhatsApp’s New Update Lets Users Edit Sent Messages – Say Goodbye to Embarrassing Typos!

Have you ever sent a clever WhatsApp reply before realising you made a huge typo? Or perhaps after finally confessing your undying love or telling your boss exactly what you think of them, you’ve had second thoughts. Do not worry; a new WhatsApp mode that enables message editing after sending may be the perfect answer to those awkward situations.
The text messaging app is currently working on a change that will let users edit texts that have already been sent. It will reportedly only be accessible for 15 minutes following the sending of a text. When exactly it will be implemented, though, is still a mystery. Millions of WhatsApp users asked for the edit to fix typos or embarrassing messages that were sent to other people in private or group chats. And users will finally be able to use the edit button after it was revealed last year that the long-requested feature was “under development.”
The WABetaInfo tech sleuths, who explore the beta to find new features, found the feature. There are now even more indications that the feature is being worked on and might be released soon. After posting a screenshot of the edit feature that had been leaked, a WhatsApp insider learned what was in store for the messaging service. When a particular message on the app is held down, the change will allow users to edit it. After the initial message is sent, users will only have a maximum of 15 minutes to make any changes.
The beta programme, however, gives WhatsApp users the best opportunity to be the first to use a new feature on their phone or tablet. You must first download WhatsApp beta to your phone in order to do this.
