The Delhi Police have summoned Vikas Malu’s wife to participate in an investigation into her allegation and the death of actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik.
She has yet to join the investigation, however.
In her statement to Delhi Police, the wife of a Delhi-based businessman Vikas Malu, owner of the farmhouse where Kaushik attended a party the day before his death, said that her husband allegedly killed Kaushik for Rs 15 crore, which he stole from the actor for investment purposes in Dubai.
According to officials, she was summoned on Sunday and asked to join the investigation on Monday.
Meanwhile, police have questioned and recorded the statements of 20 people who attended the March 8 (Holi) celebration at the Bijwasan farmhouse. The woman alleged that Kaushik came to their Dubai home on August 23, 2022, and demanded Rs 15 crore from her husband.
“I was present in the drawing room when Kaushik and my husband got into a fight. Kaushik stated that he was in desperate need of funds and that it had been three years since he had given Rs 15 crore to my husband for investment. Kaushik further stated that no investment was made or his money was returned, leaving him feeling defrauded “Examine the complaint.
She also uploaded a photo of the guy and Kaushik at a Dubai party. According to the woman, the son of the underworld dons Dawood Ibrahim was also present at the gathering. My husband told Him that he would pay back the money as soon as possible. My husband told me that he lost Kaushik’s money during the Covid epidemic. “My husband also stated that he intended to get rid of Kaushik,” according to the complaint, which also stated that her spouse sells numerous types of drugs.
Speaking on the investigation into the death of prominent Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik (66), Delhi Police said on Saturday that nothing suspicious or foul play has been discovered so far.
