Priyanka Chopra, who is now well-known in the US, claimed that she had a dispute with some individuals in Bollywood that had caused her to feel uneasy in her own skin. She also discussed how challenging it was for her to be a woman in a field that was predominately male and how she had to fight for recognition in Bollywood.
I was being passed over for roles, I had arguments with people, and I’m not very good at that game, so I got a little weary of politics and declared that I needed a break, according to Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka continued, “This music thing gave me the chance to travel to another area of the world and not feel the need to watch movies I didn’t want to see, but I would need to mingle with specific clubs and cliques of people. I had already put in a lot of time working, so I didn’t feel like I wanted to make a show of grovelling.
The actress stated that she wanted to break free from the limitations that Bollywood had placed on her and explore new opportunities in the US. She shared that her move to the United States was not an easy decision, but it was necessary for her to grow as an artist and a person.
Priyanka Chopra has starred in several movies and TV shows since making the move to the US. She also met her husband, Nick Jonas there and the two have been married for over 4 years now and have 1 child together.
